Still not quite sure what your fit is? Fancy being 'cyber-fitted' with our new funky service of
individually tailoring your own specific requirements?! Why not e-mail us a picture of your feet
and let us do all the hard work for you.
Just follow the easy step-by-step instructions below and your information will be personally
analysed by one of our professionally trained staff, who will
contact you with suggestions of the most suitable running shoes.
Time required: About 20 minutes
Things required: Digital camera, two pieces of A4 paper, a pencil, a ruler and a fun friend to help.
|
1. Put the two pieces of paper on a flat surface (preferably not a table) 2. Stand barefoot with each foot on each piece of paper, about a foot(!) apart, and with your weight centred equally across each foot, shoulders relaxed and head looking forward 3. Roll up your jeans / trousers / jodhpur breeches / plus fours to just above your knees (don't worry - we're not fussed about hairy legs) 4. Get your fun friend to draw around each foot onto the paper (please make sure the pencil is kept in an upright position all the way round - just so that the distance from the pencil line to the outside of your foot is an equal pencil width all way round) 5. Ask your fun friend to kneel on the floor in front of you and take a picture of your feet ensuring your feet fill the frame as near as possible 6. Do the same from behind 7. Put your socks and shoes back on to keep warm 8. On the paper for the right foot, mark the back your heel, then mark the tip of the longest toe (see diagram)
|
9. Measure (in millimetres) the distance between these two points:
10. Do the same for the left foot, and measure:
11. Then mark the widest points across the width of your right foot (see diagram below), and measure
(in millimetres) between these two points:

13. Send us an e-mail to photoyourfeet@sheactive.co.uk with all the above measurements, your two pictures, and the following information:
HEY PRESTO! You're finished! Please allow five working days for us to contact you with some serious suggestions of suitable running shoes. Then once you've decided, we'll deliver them to your home / work / caravan / love nest / other. oth NEXT: Do I need running shoes? |
